Uncle Tyler Dyer is a bit of a numismatic. He’s not invested in anything particularly valuable, but he enjoys filling books with examples of each year’s newly minted specie. Earlier this month, he was perusing his fifty-year-old collection of coins from the bicentennial year of 1976, as well as his book of state and other commemorative quarters issued earlier this century, when he realized he hadn’t acquired a set of semiquincentennial metal.
